Christmas Day

Beautiful Christmas morning with our little family. Lots of presents, yummy food, and playing together as a family. Perfect!

"This was the first year Morgan was in on the 'secret' of Santa. It was so cute watching him give us knowing looks whenever his sisters would ask about something. It was also fun watching him rock out on his new keyboard. Love my big guy!'

"Loved watching these two spend the day playing together. Mostly happily. Sisters at Christmas!"

Just about the cutest thing ever! A baby feeding her baby.
"Once this big girl had her new baby and train car, she was pretty much set and had zero interest in opening anything. She did enjoy escaping and running half way down our street before I caught up with her and brought her back. Good thing  we like her!!!!!"

"Anything shiny and crafty works for this little lady. Santa brought her a mini-sewing machine, while other top gifts were a button maker and special 'secret' journal. Hazel picked out this awesome coloring book for Pepper and it was a hit!"

I traded a cherry pie for this beautiful Akron blimp pillow with my talented, seamstress friend Stephanie Sidoti. I love being able to trade skills/goods!

A very Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a busy and fun-filled day. Lots of last minute errands and chores before meeting the Smiths at Westminster Presbyterian church for the church's candlelight service.
A "Truly doll" courtesy of Sarah (Anderson) Hillgrove. I love that social media has made it so easy for old friends who live far away from each other to stay in contact!

A little Elf movie watching in the afternoon. Clothing optional.

"Another wonderful Christmas Eve with the Smith's enjoying the candlelight service at the Westminster Presbyterian church. Glad the Haslams joined us this year. Such a lovely evening and perfect way to capture the beautiful spirit of this special night."

This one is an animal lover.

The popper crowns were a big hit.
"Teething with a cold is the pits but it did turn Truly into a very cuddly baby today. Lesli took full advantage of the situation during dinner."

Reindeer food all set.
Christmas Eve books and pajamas. A favorite tradition for me to pick out and the kids to open.
"Merry Christmas Eve from crew to yours!"

All ready for the big man to arrive!

Lock 3 Fun with Sarah and Stephanie

Cody had the whole week off before Christmas so we had lots of fun activities and playdates scheduled. One morning we met up with Stephanie and Sarah Lawrence at Lock 3. The kids played at the pop-up children's museum, went sledding, and ice-skating. Such a fun morning with some of our favorite people!

Stephanie sent me these photos of the older kids playing putt-putt golf, after Cody and I took the little ones home for naps.

"Spent the morning at Lock 3 playing with friends. We played in the children's museum, went ice-skating, sledding, and the older kids played putt-putt. Full day of holiday fun despite the rainy-too-warm weather!"
