Beth's Birthday Weekend

Most of you know that last week on Thursday I entered the world of thirty-somethings!
I've been looking forward to turning 30 because now I feel like a real grown-up or at least I can pass for one. On my birthday night my friend Heather had a cooking enrichment to teach us how to make cake bites. It was lots of fun to have a girls night and to be creative and make little yummys. I highly recommend making these little treats.
Eating them was pretty fun too.

On Friday Smuckers' employees decided to blow off some steam and have a softball tournament. It started as a few groups having a game and it turned into a half day event with team names, shirts and a big pizza party.

Cody's team came in second and he had a great time. Of course all weekend he kept complaining about new aches and pains but hey we're 30 now, I guess that comes with the territory!

Saturday morning we headed out to an outlet mall near us for Morgan's little buddy Jack's 2nd birthday party. It was all train themed because there is a train at the outlet and the little kids just loved it.

Heather did a great job decorating and giving the kids a fun morning.

The adults had a great time shopping at the outlets so it was fun for all!

I am currently loving fall in Ohio!

So this is a bit out of order but I woke up on Friday morning to 30 little notes posted around the house explaining thirty reasons why I am amazing.
Cody forgot to mention that reason number 31 was my amazing husband and beautiful children!
I love my family!
I have a hard time not kissing this adorable face all day long!

Pepper should have rock hard abs in not time because if you place her on her back this is how she will stay until you pick her up or she rolls over. I can barely get her to put her head in the water during bath time.

Pepper following in her brother's musical footsteps.

I had to bribe Morgan with candy to get him to let me spike his hair but I was pretty pleased with the results.

Morgan has been enjoying his conductor's hat for the past few days.

I think he pulls off the look pretty well!
Saturday night two of my good friends took me out to dinner and Cody doted on me all weekend so I must say that turning 30 was pretty darn fantastic.
Oh and you probably can't tell but that big pink blanket that was in an earlier picture was actually a Snuggie that Cody gave me for my birthday. And yes, I think it is absolutely fantastic and can't imagine my life without it!
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes and love. I felt very loved and special, which is always a nice treat on any day!

I wish I would have gone to that cake bites thing, but was not feeling good that day, but I need someone to tell or show me how to make those things!! They look delish! When I turned 30 it was very hard for me to deal with, I was actually really depressed, but now that I am officially over 30 it doesn't seem to matter. Love the awesome socks Cody has on for his game. That party looked way fun for Jack. Wade does the samething that Pepper does with the stomach crunches :) and Morgan is the cutest little rocker ever. I am so glad to have you guys for friends!

I'm glad you had a great birthday weekend. How fun! I was loving the beginning of fall in Ohio too. Although, today it felt like fall too in Florida. Yay!!! I was done with the 95 degree weather.

You remembered my B-Day and I forgot yours. Kinda like when I forgot to wish you happy birthday last year when I saw you at my reception in Jersey. I'm TERRIBLE! If it makes you feel any better, I forgot Jeff's birthday too this year. I think my memory is going with my years. Thanks for the B-Day wish. Love the hair. :) And I personally think the lot of us keep getting better with age. We're just so darn good looking. And your family's pretty cute too!

OH, and ps -- happy belated birthday. I totally agree about the 30-somethings too. It's a validating age to be for an adult. :)
