Morgan's Field Day

On Wednesday, May 23rd, Morgan's preschool had their last day of school and field day. I volunteered to help out and they said it was ok if I brought Pepper along as well. Pepper was super excited to get to play at school and with all the big kids. My lovely visiting teacher offered to watch Hazel so that she could take a nap and I could focus on Morgan. They split the kids into their classes and each class rotated around to each station. Pepper decided to join whatever group she thought was having the most fun. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great time.
Pepper first joined the group in the bouncy castle.

Morgan's class playing with bubbles and chalk.

Morgan's teacher, Ms. Susan's husband, Mr. Susan is an artist. He volunteered to help her with face painting. Ms. Susan had a few pictures for the kids to choose from but Mr. Susan would paint anything you wanted. Morgan went with a Captain America shield. 5 other kids in his class got the shield after they saw his.

Pepper wandered over to the parachute group.

Jack's class doing the limbo.

Pepper jumped in.

Awesome shield. Morgan was so worried it was going to get messed up and even went back for a touch up on his star.

One of Morgan's classmates brought his pet rabbit, Peter.

Pepper insisted Ms. Susan paint her and requested a butterfly.

Morgan's class attempting the limbo.

I kept lowering it and they kept coming up with new ways to get under it.

This is what it eventually turned into. The crab crawl limbo.

I saw some fun sidewalk chalk pictures on  Pinterest. I attempted one with Pepper. You get the idea.

I found this on the wall in the front office. Too cute.

Morgan and his buddies riding bikes.

Morgan and Jack were very happy to have hot dogs and watermelon.

Mr. Susan did this awesome shark. It wiggled when the kid moved his forehead. So cool.

Pepper went back for a snake, also from Ms. Susan.

The kids were very excited to give Ms. Susan her present. We have loved having her as Morgan's teacher this year. I really, really hope she is still there in another year so Pepper can go to her when she is 4.

Here are the teacher gifts I put together. Guess where I got the idea?! I printed out the tags and had Morgan sign them for the preschool director, Ms. Susan and the two aftercare teachers.

I loved the way it turned out. It was a magazine, beach towel, travel sunblock and bag of candy. Thought we'd help Ms. Susan start her summer off right.

That looks like a blast. Cute teacher gift. I spaced giving gifts this year. We did give Jane's teacher a mother's day present though! That counts. So fun.
