Cody Turns 33 and Last Day of Soccer

The morning we left for our Florida trip, June 2nd, Cody had his 33rd birthday. We had a quick celebration in the morning before heading to the kids last day of soccer. Right after soccer, we headed to Cousin Robin's house to spend the night before flying to Florida early on Sunday morning. We are so SO grateful for Cody and all he does for our family. I am so lucky to have him as my eternal companion and the kids are so lucky to have such an amazing father. We love you, Cody/Daddy!
The kids were excited to give him his goodies. Morgan was excited we put them in a Captain America bag.

We gave Cody things to help keep him entertained while we were gone. He got giftcards for the movies and Home Depot. He also got lots of snacks and treats to help him watch some movies.

Hazel and I stayed home and finished packing/took a nap while Pepper and Morgan had their last day of soccer. So, I'm not really sure what is happening in each photo but these are the ones I thought were cute. Pepper just standing with her hand in her pants...cause, why not?

You can tell she is totally involved and completely dedicated to paying attention.

She may not follow all directions but she does love to run.

Pretty even with wind-blown hair.

Pepper was very excited to get a medal to add to her collection.

Morgan looks very determined to squash that ball.

His favorite part of soccer was being the goalie.

I'm proud of these two for sticking with it, even if it wasn't their absolute favorite thing to do. I look forward to getting them involved with more sports. Sports may not be my favorite thing either, but I appreciate the importance of having an active lifestyle and helping the kids try new things. Also, Cody got pretty excited about it and that made it all worth it!
