Terrys Visit: Sunday Afternoon at the Nature Realm

Poor Cody, Kevin and I hobbled around for the rest of Saturday and we all said good-bye to Robin and Aaron, who had to get home. Then Jill and I went out for dinner and some girl talk and to the Relief Society broadcast. It was so fun to just hangout with Jill and get to catch up. Many thanks to the hubbies for taking care of everyone and getting them to bed. Everyone was so exhausted that I'm pretty sure it wasn't too difficult, teehee.
Sunday morning, we had our Primary Presentation. Morgan and I were both in it, since I am a primary teacher. I was excited to have everyone see Morgan say his part and sing the songs. He had it memorized for weeks and was spoke very clearly. He also was knew most of the songs and actually sang them. I was very proud of him and my class. I really love being their teacher no matter what I may grumble.
After naps and lunch, we headed to the Nature Realm to show the Terrys one of our favorite places.
It was a beautiful day but we still had to go inside to check out the animals.

Butterfly wings are a must.

Katie and Jill just taking it all in.

I love the reflection of the trees in the water and how small Alice looks compared to all that grandeur.

It's a good thing that place is not crowded because it was not easy keeping our group together.

Alice needed to collect leaves for a class project so we were all on leaf collecting duty.

Kids just love this rock.

Hazel was excited to graduate to my back, for at least the afternoon.

I think Pepper got the posing bug from Jane.

We took some family photos with Laura here a few weeks ago and got an awesome shot like this. I tried to recreate for Jill's family. With my limited skills and camera I still thought it turned out pretty cool.

Yep, that's the Terrys! haha

As always, Cody was in charge of Sunday dinner. And as always, he did not dissapoint.  He made a pork roast with apples and a very yummy gravy. I love my man and his culinary skills!

The roast was delicious. I need copies of our family photos. We had a blast. I just posted about that day also.
