On August 1st, I was fortunate to be able to fly out to Utah for our dear friends, Bro. and Sis. Neu's 50th wedding anniversary party. Mesha was the only one who knew I was coming and it was so fun to be able to surprise everyone. It was a treat to be able to travel by myself but I must say the novelty wore off faster than I thought and I missed my crazy kids. Luckily, Mesha's and Chamaine's kids were there to entertain me! It was so fun to see everyone and spend time catching up. I have been truly blessed in life to have lifelong friends despite all the moving and traveling I did growing up. My parents have always made a point of staying in contact with our friends and I'm grateful for their example.
(The pictures are all mixed up and I have no patience to fix it.)

My parents took these pictures on Monday afternoon at Mesha's house. |

Mom and Chamaine with baby Cash. |
Love all these mommas! |
It was fun to talk to Chamaine about the differences with baby boys.
I'm so glad she has one now:) |

Mesha and I surprised Chamaine Friday morning by just showing up at her house. Chamaine was completely surprised and we both started crying. It's great to be loved! Later that morning, we headed out for some girl time and pedicures. |

Those cheeks! |

Little sleeping sumo wrestler! |
Monday evening we did some shopping before Kelley picked up Dylan so we could go to dinner.
It was so fun to see Mesha and Kelley as parents! |
I love how peaceful these two look.
This was Monday night after dinner on Mesha's back porch. |
Mesha and Gravy helping me pack.
It only took a few minutes for Gravy to remember me and climb on to my chest and start purring. |
Love this guy!
Monday evening saying good-bye to me little friend. He was so happy and smiley all the time and easy going. Such a great baby. |
Another shot from our pedicures. The man doing Maizy's pedicure really gave her the full treatment, even massaging her legs with hot rocks. It was the cutest thing and she was in heaven! |

Mesha making a princess cake for Scotten's daughter's birthday. |

Me getting in some baby snuggle time with Cash. |

You forget how little they can be! |

Our pretty toes. |

On Friday night, Mesha and I drove up to American Fork to meet up with Minde and Ashley, who were both vacationing in Utah. It was so fun to be able to catch up with them and reconnect. Cody and I didn't make it to NYC this spring and I am really missing all of our friends there. |
Maybe if I tip my head, I won't look quite as tall! |
Saturday morning I was able to run over to see Heather Bingham and her family. I can't believe it has been a year since they've lived in Ohio! It was so nice to catch up and see how well they are all doing AND take a picture with a friend who is my height, teehee! |
Kurt made this scooter stand for his girls. I thought it was genius and took a picture to show Cody. |
I couldn't believe how Gravy's eyes turned out in this picture! |
Chamaine asked me to take some pictures of her nursing Cash.
I was happy to oblige. |
She always has the best smile!
And a gorgeous house! |
Dad and I after church on Sunday.
We went to Chamaine's ward and then Mesha's house for a late lunch and dinner.
I am in heels, my dad is not shrinking. |
Bro. and Sis. Whaley, Scotten and his two boys, Chamaine and family, my parents and Mesha's family were all on Mesha's back porch for Sunday dinner. |
Cash taking it easy while everyone eats. |
Ansley watching tv after church while Maizy fell asleep watching the iPad.
Such cute girls! |
Me and Mom in our Sunday best. |
Another dinner shot.
Poor Mesha had a time trying to figure out what to make for everyone between her mother's inability to eat tomatoes, my mom's diabetes, picky kids and my diet restrictions. But we finally managed to come up with a plan and it was all deliciously made! |
The sky Tuesday morning as Mesha took me to the airport. |
Mesha and I also got to meet up with Justin Deschamps and his family Sunday night. Once again, I forgot to take any pictures. I did the same thing last year when I had lunch with them and couldn't believe I did it again! He has three adorable girls and a beautiful new home. It was fun to catch up on all our different friends from the Payson Singles Ward and to drive by and see the new Payson Temple being built.
It is always nice to visit Utah and all of our wonderful friends there. I was glad to come home to my family and know that Cody and my friends in Ohio had taken such great care of everyone!
