On Saturday, January 31st, we continued to celebrate Morgan's 8th birthday with a swim party at the University of Akron's rec center. Our professor friend, Adam Smith, helped us by filling out all the paperwork and getting us a discount. The older kids and parents all got to go swimming. Lesli Smith even helped by babysitting Truly for us, since it was during nap time. We decided to keep Hazel up so she wouldn't miss out on all the fun.
I wanted to do a cool "summer fun" theme but was having a hard time finding summer party supplies during the winter and on a limited budget. We made due with some yummy snacks, Star Wars tablecloth, Spiderman balloon, and Superman napkins. Anything blue!
This was the same pool where the kids had swim lessons two summers ago.
Most of the kids spent their time playing in the whirlpool area. Somehow, lucky, Adam, kept ending up with all the kids.

We didn't have the pool to ourselves but they gave us this room to use for cake and presents and to keep our stuff.

Our big present to Morgan was a bouncy house for our basement. It's really a present for everyone but Morgan was excited to open such a big box.

We are a happy little family who live in the Akron, OH area. Cody works for the fabulous Smucker's Company. Our favorite little man Morgan is five and loving life. Our little lady Pepper is almost three and a bundle of girly joy! We welcomed, Hazel to our family and couldn't be more in love with her.
