Here's a collection of all the random things we've been up to in the month of May:
Cody took Pepper and Hazel on a Daddy/Daughter cook-out. Here's Pepper and another little girl, Hannah Teftteller, carrying a bucket of water.
"Put these people to work around here!"
Pepper's 6yr doctor appointment.
"Just a little humid in gymnastics this evening!"
Sisters playing together nicely. Worth capturing.
Taking a picture of this to give it away. This wonderful jumper made it through all four kids and was a big hit with all of them. I had mixed emotions saying good-bye to it. It's nice to get rid of things and nice that my baby is getting bigger but a little sad to move on from this stage.
"This little lady had her 6 year check up this week. She gained 6 lbs and grew 3 ins and has really stretched out. The doctor counted all the bruises on her shins and told her she had a bird's nest in her ear. All in all healthy, happy, and posing with goofy smiles and bad posture. Love her!"
I decided I needed a night out by myself. Lesli Smith met me for some food and then I headed to a 10 showing of the Age of Adeline movie. At first I was the only person in the whole theatre, which actually proved pretty creepy, but after the previews a few other people came in and all was well. I really enjoyed the movie and the night out.
"Who's that person sitting in a completely empty movie theatre by themselves...that would be little ole me!"
Pepper really is such a great big sister!
Pepper at her friend, Lyric's birthday party.
Morgan showing off his new ride.
"I have a feeling someone is going to give us a run for our money as a teenager!!!! And here's a shot of Morgan's new wheels."
One night as I was checking on the kids I just couldn't help myself and took pictures of everyone.
Hazel didn't appreciate it. Oops.
The Wrights (Emily, Ben, Elsie, and William) stopped by on their way home to Maryland. We have really missed them, especially watching Hazel and Elsie play together. It was so nice to watch them have fun together again.
"The ladies are together again! Besties since birth!"
Pepper trying out her new hand-me-down bike from Morgan's friend, Sarah. No training wheels!
Hazel running around in a sprinkler during a backyard MOMSclub playdate.
"Sometimes you just need to play in someone's backyard sprinkler in your underwear and wear a bucket on your head...you just do."
A new burger place Cody and I tried on a date night. It was pretty good but definitely overpriced.
One Sunday afternoon we were all hanging out in the playroom after nap time. Everyone just looked so cute playing with Truly. I love these pictures.
Having a dance party with some friends who came over for dinner.
"I probably should post a picture of just Cody on his birthday, but this picture perfectly captures why I love this incredible man. His smile and lovable nature first drew me in (his cute bum helped a little, ahem) and everyone just loves being around him! I couldn't imagine dealing with these crazy people without this amazing father and husband! I love you, my favorite, happy birthday! (Are we all not just a little sad Hazel is not in this picture?! She would have made it epic!)"
Here are some videos that go along with the randomness:
We are a happy little family who live in the Akron, OH area. Cody works for the fabulous Smucker's Company. Our favorite little man Morgan is five and loving life. Our little lady Pepper is almost three and a bundle of girly joy! We welcomed, Hazel to our family and couldn't be more in love with her.
