Peppermint Goes for a Walk

It's official our little Pepper has begun to walk.
Life as we know it is over!
Just kidding, we are really excited with this new development. We have been working with her trying to get her to walk and this week she finally started. She had taken one step here and there but really took a couple steps when she was trying to follow Morgan into the bathroom. We usually have to make a mad dash to get into the bathroom and shut the door before Pepper can join us. All that girls wants in life is to mess with Morgan's potty, stick her hand in the real toilet, take things out of the trash can and unroll the toilet paper. Her other favorite things are eating dirty shoes and sucking on the sides of trash cans. Yup, this girl likes all things gross.
Anyway, back to walking. Here are some videos of Pepper taking her first steps. The first couple were a bit difficult because I was trying to capture the moment by myself, which is not easy to do. Morgan tried to help also but that wasn't much easier. Finally, Cody and I got a great one of her walking between us today. This girl is ready to go!

Pepper's hair is starting to curl up like her brothers.
I thought I'd capture her new do while she was enjoying bathtime.
This girl makes the best faces!

This is now my new favorite picture of Pepper!
I laugh everytime I look at it!
So happy!
This morning had the treat of watching our friend Becky's two kids while she went to a church meeting. Abby and baby Ben are just the cutest little people and we loved having them over.
This little lady is almost a year younger than Morgan but she definitely gives him a run for his money on everything. She talks up a storm and holds her own when Morgan tries to boss her around. When the two babies were trying to nap, we sent these two out with Cody to burn off some energy. I love this picture because it looks like these two are just some lost confused people wandering around in the snow, instead of two little kids playing with together.
The geese and ducks have returned to the neighborhood.
This picture makes me laugh because Morgan looks like he's doing some sort of funny dance and Abby looks like she has no neck.
Kids are great!

Yeah for Pepper! She looks so proud of herself. It's so crazy that just the other day she was a tiny newborn and now she is walking. It sounds like Ezra and Pepper have a few things in common. He too finds the grossest things possible and puts them in his mouth and he would live in the bathroom if he could. You leave the door open for one second and he's there! They need to be introduced.
