Lately, Pepper keeps bringing me Morgan's Batman costume and whines until I put it on her.

I'm pretty sure that is the cutest little Batgirl there ever was!

Gotta love a Batgirl with droopy ears and tiny little toes.

Last Saturday, Cody was in NYC for work so the kids and I joined up with Jen, Brent and Ava and headed for Orrville for their Annual Rib Fest. Along with the said ribs, they also had a bunch of train activities, which was the real draw for us.

The kids really loved this miniature train ride. It was a great way to start off the day.

While we waited for the big train ride to start, Morgan and I took a ride on track car. It actually went pretty fast and the driver was entertaining. People who like trains REALLY like trains!

Pepper just chillin with her friends.

Getting ready for the big train ride. Of course, I managed to forget the diaper bag with all the snacks and Pepper's shoes. Yep, I'm on top of things! Luckily, Jen was better prepared and the ride wasn't too long.

Adorable Ava.

If you feed Pepper she will love you forever, or at least until you run out of food.

Yay, for trains!

After the trains, we got ourselves some ribs and headed for some shade to enjoy the band.
Their music was random but fun and the kids had fun dancing to it. Oh, btw the ribs were just so-so.
Here's a video of Pepper gettin down:

After lunch, we headed out to the Smucker's Store and Cafe for a treat.
Ava became fast friends with the Dough Boy.

Today for playgroup we went to Anna's house to cool off from the serious heat in her pool and slip'n'slide. Most of the kids can't swim so it was a bit of a challenge but we had a great time.

We are very glad to have Heather, Jack and baby Gwendolyn back. Becky, Abby and baby Ben came back today also so "Yipees" all around!

I was completely exhausted when we got home for the intense heat and sunshine but it was so much fun to hang out with friends and cool off in the water. Thanks, Anna and family!

Like father, like son. Morgan playing Cody's game-boy on the "froggy potty." Notice the missing strip of wallpaper next to Morgan? Yep, that's what he was doing on the potty before the game-boy showed up. Thanks for the redecorating incentive, Morgan. Very helpful.

I just adore Pepper's little hip swing dance moves. The pool is the best on a hot summer day. Pepper is getting so big. Fun pictures. I showed up at playgroup today and I was the only one. I think we need to regroup after the summer.
Can I just say that I LOVE that picture of Pepper in her batgirl outfit, that is awesome!! You always seem to capture the greatest moments on camera, I need to be better...I am with you on the being worn out part after playgroup on Wed and we were so late, its hard because Daniel and Natilie love to swim but Justin is not a huge water fan and Wade is so spastic I have to constantly chase him and watch him like a hawk because he would so drowned,,,that ended up not being a good day for me all around, oh well I guess we tried...
Pepper is SO cute and I love her curls! And heck, yeah, that is great of Morgan...a bit of torn wallpaper always help redecorating along... ;-) We CANNOT wait to see you guys and meet little Pepper!
