Random February

Here is a collection of random iPhone pictures for February.
A picture from the morning after Morgan's birthday party and sleepover with Sarah. They were busy building a Star Wars Lego set.
Sisters snuggling while Morgan runs around with a lightsaber. Typical evening.
Hazel watching a movie. She always sits with her legs crossed. So cute!
I rarely do Hazel's hair because of her bangs it's not in her face but I finally decided to try some pigtails just for fun. I loved the result but getting a great picture of them was not so fun.

Everyone loves when Daddy comes home!

Watching the storyteller at the Family Reading Day.
One Saturday evening we needed to go to the grocery store and Cody suggested that if I wanted I could go by myself while he fed the kids and put them to bed. Ummm...yes, please!!!! I took the opportunity to read a magazine and get a nice dinner by myself. It was heaven!
Just a little daddy/daughter time. This little girl becomes Cody's shadow whenever he is around. I hope they always stay this close!
Pepper snuggling with Morgan's piano teacher's new baby girl, Zoey.
Morgan at his 7yr checkup.
Perfect time to try out jedi moves.
Pepper showing off her Valentine's Day party haul.
Scary how green this candy made her tongue!

Hazel insisted on this outfit one night. She was so proud of herself.
Pepper decided to get in on the action.
Not to be left out Morgan got his jedi costume on.
The kids showing off their cards from Grandma and Papa Adams.
Morgan with a very sad Hazel out sledding.
Sarah and Morgan trekking back up the hill.

Our dark-chocolate/peppermint waffles. Yum!
Yet another snow day meant a playdate with Sarah while her mom was at work.
This is what modern playdates look like. Fortunately, this lasted only about 15 minutes before they were all running around again!
Trying to get Hazel to show off how much snow we had in our backyard. There should be a big difference between the level of the back porch and the walk way. But there's not! Crazy winter.
Hazel kept getting distracted by all the birds out.
I think I love her in a ponytail...a lot!
Mom sent me a box of sunshine from a local grove near them. I look forward to this EVERY year!!!
When she looks at me like this I pretty much give in to anything...so does Cody!
Putting in my chocolate-caramel-pecan pie for the ward chili cook-off/pie contest in the oven.
It looks so great and it did taste great. Unfortunately, the caramel never set right and it was pretty much pie soup. Would have made a great ice cream topping. The pie plate was licked clean however, so I guess no one really minded.

I also made this maple-walnut pie. I wasn't expecting too much from it because it was so simple. But it ended up being my favorite! It was DELICIOUS!!! Sadly, neither won but they were both completely eaten so still a good night.

Hazel and Pepper modeling a new product from Smucker's that we are all very, very excited about. Fruit pouches that are totally natural with no extra ingredients! Very happy kids.

This winter is killing us with static electricity!

Now, on to March!
