Random September

Here's the rest of our random life in September.
Typical morning positions.
Morgan and I comparing arm tans.
Trying to catch the many different faces of Truly.

Love her squeezed little fist and tongue.
Fancy Sunday dress.

Hazel laying in the sunlight in the Elsa dress and watching the reflections.

Truly enjoying some reflections as well.
Here's a small video of Truly with the rainbows:

I found this on my phone one day, along with about 100 more just like it. I just love her little buck tooth smile, chubby cheeks and pretty blue eyes.
Tummy time now includes playing with toys.

I don't know why but this face cracks me up.

Trying to capture standing baby toes when the baby can't stand and you are alone is not an easy feat (get it, "feet." Ha!)

Pepper's always Daddy's biggest helper.
I think Pepper or Morgan took all these.

Pepper is Truly's "buddy" and she takes her role very serious.
Showing everyone how much baby Morgan and baby Truly look exactly alike!

Homework time.
Playtime with Emma Griesmyer and Hazel.

Love these two together!
Our relief society participated in a service project of making Capes of Courage for children at Akron Children's Hospital. My friend Monica Moyer and her mother run the organization and she came to accept the over 100 capes we made.
Now onto the crazy, busy month of October!

Akron Marathon Kids Fun Run 2014

On Saturday morning the 27th was the annual Akron Marathon Kids Fun Run. None of us were running in the actual marathon this year but we were still excited to take our kids downtown for the Fun Run.
Hazel loves mascots but is still her shy little self. I love it.
The Chinese Club from the University of Akron was handing out fortune cookies and doing a dragon dance.

Zippy the UofA kangaroo mascot and some cheerleaders.
This year they had face painting that we waited in a very long line for but it kept us entertained while waiting for the race to start.

Oh my goodness, could this child be any cuter!

Cody took off with Pepper and Morgan with the older kid group. Hazel, Truly and I started with the rest of the stroller brigade. We ran with our friend Scott and his sons.
Hazel enjoyed getting pushed while I ran most of the way (not the best idea after having a baby and not training forever,) but she got out to run the last little way.

The kids enjoying a Radio Disney show after the race.

We were headed home when Morgan and Pepper decided they wanted to go say hi to the Radio Disney people. Morgan was too shy but Pepper has no fear so she just marched up to them and introduced herself. A few more kids followed and they ended up giving them all some free stuff. Some times I worry about Pepper's lack of "stranger danger" but I love her confidence and no fear attitude! Another great race day!
