Random September

Here is all the random things we were up to during the month of September:

Truly and Hazel spending the morning taking their babies for a walk...or run around the house.

"I spent my rainy morning watching these two chase each other around with strollers. My goodness it was loud but good to see them having fun together."

A beautiful dinner picnic and playtime evening at Croghan Park with Cody and the kids.

Cleaning the basement to get ready for Cody's friends' visit. Found a bunch of stuff to get rid of. Time to say good-bye to this beast.

Cody had the idea to make a fun face with vegetables in Hazel's hummus. She was not sold on the idea!

At least Truly ate something!

Truly and I will hang out outside a lot waiting for Hazel to come home from preschool. Truly loves the swing.

Truly's starting to figure out this whole dress up thing.

"Love friendly neighbors with great back yards and kids the same ages! And I love Cody surprising us by getting home earlier so we could all go outside and play together before bedtime."

I've been taking Truly in to nursery this month to help get her used to being in there. It has been a lot of fun to get to know these fun little people. I really love being in nursery. Here is Paisley Stromberg and Samuel Griesmyer playing "Ring Around the Rosies." After, they wouldn't let go of each other's hands. They were so cute!

The last weekend of the month, Cody's old mission/college buddies came to visit and join him going to the BYU/Michigan football game in Ann Arbor. Ben Hardcastle, Mike Smallwood, Brent Lacey, and Bo Smith came from far and wide to have a guys' weekend with Cody. The kids were very excited to have Daddy's friends here for a couple nights. Some of the guys had red-eye flights and needed an afternoon nap. Pepper and Hazel couldn't stay away so they played quietly while the guys slept. It was the cutest thing. Cody has some pretty awesome friends!
