Splash Pad Days

The kids love being outside and being outside in water is even more fantastic. A few times during August we met up with friends at the Medina splash pad. Because it's Northeast Ohio the water is always cold but the sun was shining and there's lots of space to run around. Bring some food and it's a wonderful morning out and everyone is ready for quiet time when we get home.

Shade is always a must.

Pepper swinging with Nancy Roskos.
The babies, Truly and Zoey Maier, spent most of their time on the scary and hot stone steps. Crazy babies!

Thanks, Celeste Wright for inspiring me to get my own sportsbrella. We took it to the splash pad today and it worked perfectly!"
"Fun times with friends at the splash pad and playground. Of course, all the babies kept ending up on the stone steps! It felt good to be out in the sun running around!"
"I'm starting to think this one may need a haircut. Maybe."
This day was more overcast and chilly but still lots of fun.
Our Smucker's friends, Lindsey Hill and Laura Eller, met us there. Marianne Millar also joined us.

"It was a bit cold, windy, and overcast but that didn't stop us from having a fun time with friends at the splash pad/park. Driving home Morgan informed me it was the best morning because he got to boss everyone around because he was the oldest. Pepper assured me they all had fun doing the pirate captain's bidding. Ahhhh, to be young again!"
