Pepper's Last Day of 3yr Preschool

Pepper's last day of her first year of preschool was on Wednesday, May 22nd. I wondered if she would be really sad that school was over but with all the fun of playing with friends I don't think she really  noticed. Hazel stayed with Avi's dad and grandparents again so that I could focus on Pepper. It was super hot and muggy inside (the forecast was thunderstorms, which of course did not happen) but we got to go in and out a lot so we all survived.

First stop was roller coasters.

Right next door to the preschool/church is a National Guard station. They were nice enough to bring over two of their ambulance trucks to let the kids see and touch. They also brought little goodie bags for all the kids. The teachers had prepared a little cheer for the soldiers and gave the kids little flags to carry. A very fitting way to kick off Memorial Day weekend.

Can you just imagine how fair skinned, curly-haired and freckled their kids would be?!

I'm so proud of how well Pepper did at her first year of preschool.

Pepper was very excited to give Mrs. Yonders her present.

Mrs. Yonders wrote on Pepper's report card that she was so happy that she had had Pepper in her class.
We were very happy about that too!

Now, Miss Stacey's turn.

Miss Stacey helped out all year with Mrs. Yonders class and other activities at school.
She is always such a happy, smiley face every morning!

Mrs. Renzi is the director of the preschool and does such a great job with all the children.
Pepper loved bringing books in to school so that she could have special one-on-one reading time with Mrs. Renzi.
She did it so often Mrs. Renzi gave her a My Little Pony book to keep on the last week of school.
