Florida Trip: Final Weekend

Our last weekend was filled with lots of chill, hanging out time. Saturday morning we took the girls that wanted a haircut to the salon with Gramma. I forgot to take any pics of Hazel but she really enjoyed herself as well and was a very, very good baby. She even walked right over to the hairdresser, gave her a hug and let the hairdresser pick her up and take her to the chair. The ladies in the salon couldn't stop talking about what a great baby she was.
Pepper enjoying the full treatment.

Jane was a little unsure but still happy.

I love this picture of Jane. She totally picked her hairstyle and is very happy to be getting her haircut. She is not upset or sad in anyway. But you would never know that! Just like Jill:)
Saturday evening, we went back to the zoo for Summer Saturdays, where they keep the zoo open late and have live music and other entertainment. It was a little drizzly at first but turned out to be a very pleasant evening.

You can't really tell but we found a momma bird feeding her babies and an egg that hadn't hatched yet. Was pretty stoked about that.

The kids dancing to the orchestra.

A little sweaty but happy to be dancing with Gramma.

Cool shot!
Kevin entertaining the kids on Sunday night with some games.
Katie and Hazel in these shots sums up their time together pretty well.

Yep, Katie is wearing Hazel's hat and trying to take whatever toy she has. Hazel is putting up a fight while Jill tries to mediate. Good times.

Our final morning together on Tuesday, the kids were hard at work making signs.

Killer smile Kate!

Much better.
Random pics from Ali's phone.

Now every time Hazel sees herself in a camera she sticks her tongue out. Thanks, Ali!
Tuesday morning, my Auntie Cheryl and cousin, Emily came over with Lisa and her girls to hang out with us for a bit. They had just arrived the night before so luckily the kids and I had an evening flight or we would have totally missed each other. I had not seen Emily in about 8 yrs.
Emily chatting with my mom.

This girl has attitude to spare!

The family minus a few husbands.

Mom and I sporting our matching Salty Bay t-shirts from a favorite seafood shack in Maine.

Yay, for time spent with this lady!
Pepper making a new friend in the airport while Hazel dumps her food all over the place and continues to eat it.
Pepper had even managed to get this kids iPad away from him.
She is going to be dangerous as a teenager!!!

This trip was wonderful and crazy and a bit too long but I'm so glad that we were able to get together with my family once again. We are very, very blessed...tired and emotionally exhausted but very blessed.
