More Utah Fun

The last weekend in Utah was a whirlwind of fun and super relaxing at the same time. I couldn't believe how easy just having tow kids could be, especially when one of them is Pepper! She's the best helper! We spent most of our time hanging out with Mesha and Chamaine and their kids and visiting with other friends.
Mitt and Truly sharing snacks at church.

Dylan playing with Justin Deschamps' girls.
I love catching up with old friends and letting our kids play together. We got to do it so much this vacation and it was always fantastic and well worth the effort!

The girls and I spent one late afternoon hanging out on Mesha's trampoline just staring at the clouds and playing. It was so peaceful and one of my favorite moments.

Some people are more cooperative than others.

"Another great day visiting with old friends! Justin and Lara it was so fun to reconnect and let our girls play. Now, it's your turn to come visit Ohio!!!!"
"Yes, these girls just love hanging out with me on the trampoline and looking for shapes in the clouds! I love summer evenings."
Pepper and I shared a room in Mesha's basement. I must say she is not my favorite sleeping companion but she's getting better with age!
"This cute girl can hardly stand the excitement of staying in a room with THIS many Barbies. It is a non-stop monologue of descriptions and enthusiastic discoveries of new dresses and hairstyles. Luckily, she still managed to fall asleep just fine! I want to bottle this age and keep it forever!"

Chamaine being the super-mom-teacher that she is and setting up a craft project for the girls.

On Monday afternoon, Grandma and Papa Adams brought up Morgan and Hazel. We spent the rest of the day playing with friends then we all spent the night at Katie's house in Lehi.

This kid was such a snuggle-bug. I just kiss his squishy face forever.
After the kids were dropped off, we met Anne Steenblik and her kids at Cafe Rio in Spanish Fork. We have tried a few times over the years to see each other but it never worked out. So glad this time worked!!!

Hazel playing with cousins at Aunt Katie's house. This picture just cracks me up!
We have the best cousins! Wish these girls lived closer!
"We finally managed to make our paths cross after 8 years, Anne and I couldn't be happier!!! I loved getting to catch up and see your beautifully big smile again! Our kids may drive us crazy but they keep it interesting:) Let's not wait another 8 years to catch up again."
"We spent our morning getting in our last bits of fun with Chamaine and crew. Thanks for all the good times, now go relax!!!!"
"We met in kindergarten and primary and have been in each other's business ever since!!! Love you, Mesha! Thank you for everything!"
Now, time to go home and see Cody!
