Week of Fun with Chamaine and Kids

A few days after Cody and the Croxalls left, Chamaine and her kids came to visit. They stayed in her in-laws cabin and brought a 12 year old helper friend, Kaytee. We had tons of fun and kept ourselves constantly on the go. It was an amazing trip and I'm so glad they joined us.
Another hike in Zions, another picnic breakfast.

Our crew was NOT a quiet crew!

Morgan taking a picture pretending to hold up the rock.
Hazel wanted to take the same picture. This picture makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time. Laugh because it's so silly and cry because she is so young, and sweet, and innocent and I want her to stay that way forever!

The squirrels at the end of the Narrows had NO FEAR! They were crazy!
The crew and I at the Narrows.

This baby was very happy to have her toes in the frigid water.
Chamaine and her bunch.

The best helper in the world!
The older kids, Truly and I crossed over to the other side of the Narrows while Grandma and the other little ones played in the water. The big kids had tons of fun throwing rocks and playing in the water.

I dared Pepper to sit in the freezing cold water. Brave little girl lasted a few moments!

Morgan loved this stick and rock and wanted to smuggle them out of the park. But since that's against the law we had to settle with a picture.
Spending fun time together with this lady makes me very, very happy.
I love this picture and these girls!!!

Three wild and woolly blondies causing havoc in the back of the bus.

Surprise, surprise, everyone is in the hot tub!

"This is how a supermom hikes Zions!"
"Did the Zions Riverside Walk to the Narrows this morning. Beautiful weather and the kids had so much fun playing in the freezing cold water."
"What do you do when two moms take 9 kids under 9 hiking in Zions? They pawn one off on Grandma and GIVE off on the teenage helper, so they only have to take care of the 3 they're carrying! Perfect plan! Oh, wait, I forgot about Morgan walking by himself and I was carrying no one while Chamaine had two! Even better plan:)"

"Happy day letting them run free and spending time with Grandma and Auntie Chamaine."

"Another fun morning at the St. George splash pad with friends. So glad we got to hang out Jacquelyn and I got to become friends with your adorable little man! Now, you  have to plan your next Florida trip when I'm there too and we can play some more!"
"I swear ALL the kids were having a blast despite Morgan's facial expression! And we managed to keep track of all 9 most of the time....good thing we had help, Chamaine!"
Just wanted to remember the blissful moments I felt spending time in this beautiful place.
Truly finally warmed up to Grandpa enough to hang out with him for a little while. Of course, this was right before we left but still worth documenting.

"Morgan pretending to be a hamster at a fun little play ranch Chamaine found. Totally free and you could run around and hlep yourself to all the different activities. Score!"
Horse walker turned swing set.

Lunch break at Costco. Yum.

After lunch, we took the kids to Washington Community center to swim. We had a fantastic time watching the kids run amok.

"In other Super Mom news, this Wonder Woman not only helped wrangle the 9 kiddos having lunch at Costco and getting ready to go to a water park, but still managed to slip in baby feedings whenever needed! Amazing job, Chamaine! (I couldn't let this beautiful motherhood moment go undocumented.)"
"For any friends visiting St. George area, the Washington Community Center was AMAZING! The water park area is super fun. The kids loved the lazy river that went outside and all the fun water slides. There was also a rock climbing wall and other indoor sports activities that we didn't do, and it only costs $5 per person over 4. Why oh why does WEst Akron not have something like this?!!!! (And can I take a moment to say how much I LOVE puddle jumper floaties!!!! They make my life so, so, so much easier!)"
