This year I turned 36 on a Thursday. Since, the three older kids would be at school, I decided it was a great time to treat myself to a delicious breakfast. I invited any friends who wanted to join me and we went to the Blue Door Cafe in Cuyahoga Falls. The food and company were fantastic, except for Truly. I should have found somebody to watch her because she's insane!!! Oh, well, still a great way to start my birthday.

"This, plus some dang good bacon and eggs, was my birthday breakfast. Thank you ladies for joining me and helping me deal with Truly-the-Worst! I am so grateful for your friendship and generosity of spirit, Emily O'Brien, Elizabeth Nielson, and Kacey Yates-Gable! Today is a good day!" |

"Yep, this is what a 'mom birthday' celebration looks like! Thank you, Cody for bringing home dinner and a cake made by someone else (the lovely and talented, Kiery Wilson,) and then for cleaning the kitchen while I went out for ice cream with friends. I may be too tired to look good in this photo but I had a great day and felt very loved!" |
That evening Bekah Griesmyer invited a bunch of friends out for ice cream at Mary Coyle's in Highland Square. Such a great day! I loved turning 36!
