Florida Part 2

These pictures are all a bit out of order. If I get around to it, I will get them right. Otherwise, forgive me.

On Tuesday morning the 5th, we headed out to the beach again. Got to get as much beach time in with Uncle Larry.
I have always loved pictures of people from behind looking out over something grand. I love how big Morgan looks next to Pepper. Like he will always be around looking after her.

Pepper and Ali, with Papa and Uncle Larry in the background.

Ali and Nathan are off in the distance. These two seemed very happy to have another teenager around.

Pepper with her favorite person, Auntie Kim. These two formed a special bond on this trip and she was basically Kim's shadow.

Rinsing off after fun in the waves.

On Wednesday morning we headed to the Brevard Zoo.
Jane, Pepper and Mikayla

Pepper and Morgan

Ali and Pepper climbing down to see the cheetahs.

Pepper and Alice just being cute.

After seeing the animals, we headed to the water area to cool off. Ali with squishy face Hazel. These two had a love/hate relationship. It seemed everytime Ali held Hazel, Hazel would spit up on her. By the end Ali gave up holding her altogether.

It was actually not the hottest of days and Alice found the water area a bit chilly.

I guess compared to Ohio water, Pepper thought this water was just great.

All the ladies.

After cooling off, the kids went into the indoor exploration area. They can dig for dinosaur bones in the sand.

Or pretend to be Doc McStuffins.

Hazel taking a very sweaty nap outside the play area.

Pepper decided to help Auntie Kim with her Insanity workouts. This was a lot of fun to watch. I love how Pepper tried so hard to mimic the moves. Here's a video:

Thursday morning, we took the kids to the free kids movie at the movie theatre. Here are the kids playing in the fountain outside.

We saw "Cats & Dogs, Revenge of Kitty Galore."

There is a pizza place near the movie theatre where you can get free kids meals if you've gone to the free movie. We played in the little pavillion area while waiting for Gramma to join us for lunch.

Friday was a rainy day so we took the kids to Pump It Up to run some of the wiggles out.

I think this may be the only picture of Ali and I. I really should wear makeup more often so my eyes show up better in pictures. Or I'll just stick to always taking the pictures and not being in them:)

That night we had a quick girls night out. We drove down and picked up Jill and then went to a frozen yogurt place for a late night treat.

Despite the different hairstyles I think it is safe to say we still look a lot alike.

Joshua and Jacob had scout camp all week so we didn't see them a lot. Here's Joshua joining the other to watch the ipad.

And now they are all playing on Ali's ipod touch.

This picture cracked me up. She looks like a pirate baby.

Saturday morning we headed to the beach again. These four had a blast building a sand castle and digging.

Morgan petitioned and petitioned to stay home from the beach. He does not like the idea of getting sandy. But in the end I convinced him to come because I knew he would have a great time. The beach is not my favorite either but I always end up having a good time once I'm there.

Jacob and Joshua in the waves.

My cousin, Lisa, and her two little girls, Sophia and baby Leilani, joined us as well. Oh yeah, Sean was there also, just no picture of him:)

We some how missed Pepper's back with sunblock. She still has a tan X on her back. Luckily, she doesn't just burn, peel and fade like I do.

While all the little ones napped or vegged out in front of a movie, I took the older kids to Ron Jon surf shop in Cocoa Beach. Here's a fun shot from the parking garage.

Ali and Joshua doing a little shopping.

If you look real close, you can see the Jacob monster hiding under the blanket. This kept Hazel entertained forever. Jacob is so good with the babies.

I have always loved cousin bathtime photos. I guess cause I have fond memories of bathtime at my grandmother's house with my cousins. Here is a very sleepy Kate with Pepper.

Jane and Mikayla are getting so big!

Okay, this is proably a bit much but seriously isn't this the cutest picture ever! Ben has always been the little brown boy but after only a few days, Morgan was sporting a pretty great tan line of his own.

Twin cousins, very clean and pretty.

I also remember having some fun pictures of cousin sleepovers. So the last night I couldn't help sneaking in and taking a picture of these two. I should have gotten a picture of Pepper and Ali as well. They were bedmates for the entire trip. Yet, another reason why Ali is the greatest.

These three had matching swimsuits so we had to get a picture of them. Easier said then done.

After the zoo, we all went to Steak n Shake for lunch. Not an easy feat with that many kiddos. Mikayla, Ben and Morgan enjoying the fun cars before the food arrived.

Hazel giving the dirty squishy face. This girl loves her baby food. She's now old enough for crunchies as well and that makes her very happy.

Me, Pepper and Nathan waiting for our food with smiles.

One night we went for a walk on the beach at the end of my parents' road. Jacob braved the big waves and tons of rocks.

These two did their best to keep up with him.

This one is pretty darn cute.

All the little girls loved hanging out with Ali.

Sweaty and red-cheeked. Yep, that's my kid.

Ben and his great toothless grin.

By the end of the trip, Ali had everyone doing the peace sign/kissy face pose.

A little snuggle time with Gramma Goodier.

Taking a break to play air hockey.

The girls had fun jumping in together. Here's a video of their antics:

Always a party in the pool.
