On Monday, June 3rd, Morgan's school had a little award ceremony for just the kindergarten classes and their parents. They were giving out awards for children who had never been tardy and who had read over 400 lines. I took Hazel and Pepper with me hoping that they would behave and Morgan would enjoy having all of us there.

| In the hallway across from the main office is a bulletin board with stars for every 100 lines of reading. The children get to sign the stars when they've passed the lines. I was excited to find Morgan's signature on the 500 lines star. It's near the bottom and circled. |

| I was so proud of Morgan and more excited about how proud he was of himself. I am also thankful that I have the opportunity to go to little ceremonies like this. Sometimes I feel bad for Cody who always has to miss them...not bad enough to trade places, though! |
