Last Bit of Random

So, here's a little bit more randomness before we head out on our big trip out west.
We have had to bust out the gates once again. It doesn't matter what room Hazel is in or how many toys she has, she will always want to be in the other room. Especially, if Morgan and Pepper are in the other room playing peek-a-boo with her.
Here's another video for good measure:

Morgan and Pepper testing out the headphones. Cody and I decided that this trip we may need to take a few breaks from the Doodlebops and Justice League to listen to our own music. I'm glad they are finally old enough to use these.

Last Monday, we met some other moms from Momsclub to enjoy an ice cream treat. My two went for the Superman flavor that was brightly colored. One of the other moms said it tasted disgusting but none of the kids seemed to mind.

More of Morgan working on his gymnastic skills. Sorry they are blurry, still trying to figure that out.

This one was funky. Morgan put his feet in a suspended bucket and walked aroun an ottoman thing with his hands.

This is a horrible picture of me but I really wanted to capture a nursing moment with Hazel. So far she is my only baby that absolutely refuses to take a bottle or sippy cup of any kind. She also still wants to be swaddled before she sleeps. I usually nurse her when she wakes up,except for right before bedtime. The lighting was horrible but here's a picture of my little Hazelnut getting ready for bed.

Sunday afternoon, Cody tried again to help capture the moment for me. Once we opened the blinds things worked a lot better. For awhile Hazel could not nurse with any distractions but she's starting to get over that. She didn't seem to mind the curtain open or Daddy taking pictures.

Hazel likes to attack my face while she drinks.
I feel like she's saying, "No Mommy, no talking."

Getting distracted.

Taking it easy.

Finally, had enough of this distracting photo shoot.

Now she just wants to play with Daddy.
Good thing she's fast and efficient.

Last Saturday evening, we headed to another playground with Daddy. It had been a really hot day and we were trying to get some things done for the road trip so the kids had been cooped up all day. They were very happy to get out.

Pepper found this little ball and had a blast.

Why do the monkey bars yourself when Daddy can help.

Pepper having lots of fun at gymnastics class.

Hazel having fun watching.

So, I'll leave you with this precious face for a few weeks. Enjoy your summer!

July full of Randomness

Since we've been up to lots of little things these past few weeks but nothing overly exciting, here's a collection of random pictures from our July.
The mommy and baby deer I saw one morning in our backyard.

Now that Hazel is on the move it is not so easy to keep her occupied while I try to do things like blog. My solution was to put my baby in a box.

Luckily, she didn't seem to mind.

Could she BE any cuter?!
Here's a video of her boxed cuteness:

One morning Pepper helped me make a little banana and zucchini bread yumminess.

I've started taking the kids to Earth Fare again on Thursdays for kids eat free night. The other night a local day care was there and had set up a Lego table. Cody met us there and helped the kids with their buildings.

Hazel keeping it cool during dinner.

I can't decide if she reminds me more of Elton John or Ceelo Green.

Another Lego table was set up at the playground the other day.

Hazel working on her tan toes.

Just my girls hanging out...wearing pink hats...looking cute.

Yay for swings.

Morgan's new best buddy, Rykker, helping him build.

Every morning the kids and I go out to water the garden and to pick strawberries. So far we've been averaging two to four a morning. They are not always the biggest but they sure tast good. And the kids have a lot of fun hunting for them.

The tomatoes and peppers are starting to show up as well. This was taken a week or so ago. They are much bigger now but still green. Course, I'm not sure what colors they are suppossed to be but I'm pretty sure it's not green.

My darling girl feeding herself a little crunchie.

I love her little crossed feet.

The way she holds her toes while she eats just cracks me up.

Trying to attack the camera.

Here's Morgan during his gymnastics class.

Thumbs up for fun!
Here's a video of Morgan in action:

I keep meaning to show pictures of our livingroom and how much it has changed. I'll get there eventually but for now here's a picture of our new chairs and end table from Ikea.

Still working on getting rid of the loveseat but here's a glimpse of the progress.

Little lady is working on her top two teeth. One is in and one is almost there.

Back at the very beginning of the month we went to the Nature Realm with our good friends the Pavkovs.
We were very excited as you can tell.

It was a hot day so we stuck to the shade.

We were going to go on a little hike but decided instead to go back to our place and play in the water.

These great friends also decided to leave us, but luckily this time they only moved about an hour away. Thank goodness, cause we really miss our friends lately. Anna was my partner in crime for last minute adventures and always up for anything. Good thing their families are in our ward so we will be forced to see them on a regular basis.

And finally, a little glimpse of sisterly love. Pepper is always asking to hold and carry Hazel. She just loves her little sister but now that Hazel is getting more feisty Pepper is having a hard time handling her. Also, every time Hazel eats, drools, spits up or does just about anything Pepper gags. Yep, she's got my gag reflex!
