Random June

Here's all the random things we were up to during the month of June.

"Morgan's last day of piano for the year before we take off for most of the summer. He has improved by leaps and bounds this year thanks to the expert teaching of Miss Diane."

Saying good-bye to the baby carrier and stroller. They served us well but I was very glad to see them go!

"Spending my last morning for awhile alone with my two littles. Crazy curls wouldn't stay still long enough for a photo, but this silly monkey was obliging."
"Little Miss graduated to sitting in the shopping cart today (it was just too easy to keep her in the carseat up till now.)"

"Cody took the older kids to a baseball game, baby is in bed, I've got diet coke, Panera, and a Hitchcock double feature on deck. I'm in my happy place!"

"The one and only time in my life I had dark hair and a tan. In honor of the Tony Awards tonight here I am in the King & I circa 1995."
It's hard to say good-bye to such beloved shoes but buying a new identical pair really helps!

"Hard to tell in this picture but Morgan has a forehead tan line from his longer bangs! So glad to get his hair cut so I can see his gorgeous eyes better!"
In the short time between coming home from Florida and leaving for Utah, Hazel managed to attend her best friend, Emma Griesmyer's 4th birthday party. Bekah pulled out all the stops to make it a wonderful time for all the little girls. The princess tea party was a huge success!

"Hazel and I got much needed hair cuts (I heart baby bangs!) and she got to attend her BFF's birthday tea party. Not a bad start for this lazy, rainy day at home."

Trying to capture a kid dance party is never easy.

Now, on to July and our huge trip west!

I could watch this baby toddle forever!

Fun with Gramma G

We were all very grateful that Gramma G. was able to stay for a few extra days after we arrived home from Florida. We all love spending time with both of our fantastic grandmas and wish they lived closer!
At the Highland Square Library checking out their carnivorous plants.

We took Gramma to one of our favorite areas Highland Square and Mary Coyles ice cream. Yummy!

Yes, it's the end of June and cold enough for a jacket! We already missed the warmth of Florida.
A baby on a mission.

"Gramma took us out for Mary Coyle ice cream, an Akron favorite. The kids all wore their Savannah touristy shirts. We tried to take a nice picture...sigh...this was easier."
"We love ice cream, and even better, ice cream with Gramma!"
Hazel's look for a Sunday afternoon stroll.

"Beautiful afternoon for one last outing with Gramma, a stroll around our neighborhood. It is going to be hard to say good-bye!"
