Zoo, Carnival and Other Happenings

A typical scene in my house; all of us sitting in one spot. We like to conserve space around here, especially if it means sitting on Mommy. Morgan's preschool had a carnival and silent auction to raise money for the school. I volunteered to put together a basket of Smuckers products. I was pretty happy with the result. That was one heavy, jam-packed basket of goodies.
Thanks to the dollar bins at Target, Pepper has a very fashionable spring accessory.

Such a pretty flower.
A few weeks ago for playgroup we went to the Akron Zoo. It was still quite chilly outside, like in the 30s but the sun was out and we were excited to see the animals.
Gramma, Pepper and Jack

Morgan, Jack and Ellie playing in a truck.

The two snow bunnies crossing the rope bridge.
One good thing about a small zoo, you get to see the animals pretty close up.
The carousal was still closed for the season but they had the lion out for the kids to sit on.

Taking a last look at the flamingos. We had a pretty good turnout and lots of fun seeing the animals, having lunch and playing with our friends.
On Saturday, March 26th, Woodland Preschool had their annual carnival and silent auction. We spent most of the morning checking out all the fun games and watching Zobapago perform. Morgan was excited to show Daddy and Gramma his classroom and school.
Fishing for treasure.
Pepper scoring a basket with the help of Daddy.
Our family standing in front of Morgan's clown he made to help dress up the hallway.
Watching the band perform.
Pepper and our neighbor, Abe, helping the band perform a song about facial features.
We had a fantastic time playing, jumping, eating and watching the music. The school raised lots of money and did a great job making the carnival a success. I am very glad Morgan goes to this school and that we can get involved with the school and community.
