After leaving Vernal on Wednesday the 25th, we headed down to Spanish Fork to visit Auntie Mesha and her new baby boy, Dylan Wilfred. I was hoping to make it for Dylan's grand entrance into the world but he decided he couldn't wait and came the first day of our trip 13 days early. It worked out well, though because we got there his second day home. Hazel and I stayed for a couple days to help out and love on the little man, while Cody and the older two went down to Virgin after a quick visit.
| Pepper thought he was "so cute," said in a very high sqeaky voice. |
| Lots of love for the tiny little man. He was 6 lbs 2 ozs when born so was probably only about 5 lbs something when we saw him. A tiny little man with big hands and feet. Just like a puppy. |
| Morgan went "aww baby," so you have cookies and a trampoline? |
| After visiting Mesha, Kelley and Dylan, we popped over to visit Mesha's mom. I have known Sis. Whaley all my life so she's like another mom to me. A few years ago she suffered a major stroke that has left her in a wheelchair and in need of much assistance. However, she still knows me and remembers my family. She was excited to see Hazel and how big the other two have gotten. Mesha's sister, Elisabeth was there helping her mom, while Mesha's sister, Chamaine, was out of town. |
| Sis. Whaley was nice enough to let Morgan take a ride down the lift with her. Highlight of his day. |
| It was great to see Elisabeth again and meet her new little lady. |
After our visit, Cody and the kids headed to Grandma's house and I got back to loving on my new little man.
| It's amazing how small, yet so perfect they can come! |
| Dylan was a bit jaundice, so on Thursday we took him for a blood test to see how he was doing. |
| Happy mommy, Mesha. |
| This is my old cat, Gravy, that Mesha and Kelley adopted when Cody and I moved to NYC. Gravy has never done well with children so we'll see how this goes when the child is part of her own family. Oh, and Kelley had her shaved for the summer. Such a cute little lion. |
| A great shot of how tiny Dylan is but how big his feet are. |
| My favorite. |
| Before this trip Hazel seemed so small to me. After this trip, not so much. |
| Mesha did not have the easiest of delivery situations and ended up with an emergency c-section. To make up for his abrupt, eventful delivery, Dylan was a perfect little baby and an amazing nurser. Such a beautiful pair. |
| A very happy auntie. |
| I guess Gravy forgave me for leaving her in Utah. |
| On Friday morning, Cody drove back up to Spanish Fork to pick up Hazel and I. Hazel was very happy to see Daddy again. |
| I forced Cody into holding Dylan just to show him how tiny he was. As you can tell Cody just loved it. |
It was so great to get to spend some time with Mesha and her family. Dylan was just the sweetest little guy. I can't wait to watch him grow up. After we left Mesha's we visited with an old friend of Cody's who also just had a baby a few weeks ago. It was a lovely few days of snuggling newborn babies and then going back to my own children who sleep through the night:)

Dylan is a cutie. Mesha looks great. How fun to spend some time with her. Grandma's pool looks awesome and the scenery is just gorgeous. Love all the pictures.
