On Thursday, January 29th, our big boy, Morgan, turned 8 years old! It is hard to believe that so much time has passed since we brought home this hefty baby boy and tried to figure out what in the world we were doing with a baby! Morgan is such a great help to me around the house and takes his big-brother role very seriously. Sometimes a little too seriously and I have to remind him that I am the mother and he does not have to order everyone around! Morgan loves Pokemon, Harry Potter, Legos and reading. He is currently devouring all of Cody's old Asterisk comics and all the Calvin & Hobbes he can get his hands on. Morgan is doing very well in school and his teacher asked if she could take him home and keep him because he is so helpful. He is really getting the knack of the piano and really enjoys working with his teacher this year, Miss Diane. Morgan can be stubborn but usually can be easily persuaded to make the right choice and is a great example to his sisters. We love our buddy!

When I asked Morgan this year what he wanted for his homemade birthday dinner, he requested cinnamon rolls and hot dogs. Sure, why not?!

| "For dinner he requested hot dogs and homemade cinnamon rolls. For dessert he picked Sweet Frog frozen yogurt, which all of his sisters happily enjoyed as well. Pretty fun night celebrating my handsome son." |
