On Thursday, December 20, Pepper had her 1st Woodland Preschool Christmas Program. This past couple weeks she's had a lot of fun doing different activities at school. They had a breakfast with Santa, had a Polar Express day, where she got to wear pajamas to school (the highlight of her week for sure) and she got to stay for a Christmas party in aftercare. I am so thankful that she and Morgan managed to remain healthy through all of their parties and special events so that they could both enjoy all the fun.

Hazel was very excited for the show to begin.
Here are a few pictures of all the fun followed by a bunch of videos. My friend, Lesli, Lafe's mom, took all the pictures and videos for me because Hazel was way to wiggly for me to do them myself. The camera ran out of space so the last video got cut off. If you have the time and enjoy funny kids singing songs, they are worth a watch. Especially watch Pepper, Lafe (the red-head in the boat sweater,) Brianna (the little girl in the gray, bow sweater) and the boy in the front row with the green sweater. Too much cuteness!

Lafe, Brianna and Pepper's pose in this picture just kills me!

So proud of herself and I am so proud of her too. She just marched right up, sang the songs she knew and seemed to love every minute of it. I see a lot of stages in her future.
Between songs Pepper kept waving and calling out to me and then pointing out her friends' moms to them. Every one in the room was cracking up at her. She eventually caught on that they were laughing at her and got shy and lifted her shirt above her head. The room went crazy. She really stole the show. A couple weeks ago when the primary kids sang in church, Pepper insisted on going up because she is almost in primary. She ran up to the stand, elbowed her way to the front then yelled at the chorister, "Excuse me! Excuse me! I'm in primary now!" Everyone giggled. This girl just cracks us all up.

Very proud of their school and the great job they did in their performance.
My big girl is just getting bigger all the time. Pepper can definitely drive me crazy sometimes but she really is my favorite little sidekick. I love her enthusiasm and infectious smile. Her willingness and bravery to try new things, except for food and going near dogs or farm animals of course, is inspiring to me. She already has everyone wrapped around her finger, probably with the help of her curly blond hair. We just love our Peppermint!
