On Wednesday, the 16th we headed up to Palmyra to go to the temple and to see the Smith farm. It was a beautiful day and the children had a great time playing in a big field behind the stake center near the temple.
Looking over the Sacred Grove from the temple grounds.
So grateful that we were able to help my dad seal his brother to their parents and himself. It was a beautiful moment that I will always remember.
The kids were happy to see us. Very thankful for Kim and the older boys who took such great care of the kids.
Give the boy with huge headphones the job of pushing a screaming baby. Very smart.
Next, on to the Smith farm and Sacred Grove.
Heading into the Grove. Somehow Cody and I ended up with a large portion of the small kids and at least one child from each family. We were not the quietest crew moving through the sacred space!
Such a good cousin!
Just about every little kid was crying at one point or another from falling off this thing. It's a wonder they don't make them anymore!
It took a lot of coaxing but I finally managed to get the kids into the swimming pond by bribing them with money!
Yep, I'm the mom who tells people to throw my children into the water! Makes for a great picture!
Pepper totally freaked out when she got caught in the mossy grass under the pier. Luckily, Uncle Mike was there to save her while her compassionate mother just took a picture.
After the cold pond water, the kids warmed up in the hot tub. Someone is ready for nap time I think?!
Here are some videos of the kids at the pond:
