Last weekend we gave Pepper her first tastes of all the Easter fun.Our apartment complex had a party on Friday afternoon and on Saturday we went to the Northwest Akron Rec Center to meet the Easter Bunny and to have an Easter egg hunt.
I think Morgan is going to be under the impression that Easter lasts forever!
Abby was not impressed by the Easter Bunny.

The Rec Center was very smart and set up an area for the little ones that was fenced in. They would let 6 kids and their parents in at a time then restock the eggs after for the next group. Genius!
Trying to get a baby to stare directly into the sun is probably not the best way to take pictures. Oops.

On Friday afternoon, our apartment complex had a little Easter party. This one was not well organized and planned so our little people totally missed the egg hunt but with all the big kids going crazy in that small space, I don't think they would have had much of a chance anyway.
Luckily, there was a nice plate of cookies and some nice older kids shared their eggs with us.

Heather was a good sport for holding Pepper, letting her play with her keys and still smiling while I tried to take a picture of her eating a cookie. Thanks for putting up with us:)

After the "almost" Easter party, Abby and Morgan put on a show for us.
