We continued our Christmas Eve tradition of going to a different church's service with the Smith family. This year we went to a Presbyterian church on West Exchange St. On the way in we ran into our favorite preschool teachers Ms. Susan and her mother, Miss Bobby. The kids were all very excited to see them and Morgan, Pepper and Lafe joined them in the balcony while we found seats on the main floor. My friend, Kacey Yates-Gable was also in the choir, which was a fun surprise.

| Adam and Lesli, and Pepper's blond head up in the balcony. |
| Truly was not the happiest baby with all the strangers and commotion. The poor people around us kept trying to smile at her, which only made her cry. Sigh. One day she'll be a happy smiley, baby...one day. |
| Proof that I was there. |
| The highlight of the night was singing "Silent Night," by candlelight. It was a really special moment. |
| After church dinner. The kids were just about to say a prayer and not pouting. |
| After we got home from the Smith's, we had to quickly set out the reindeer food and milk and cookies for Santa. |
| Next, it was time to open the Christmas Eve pajamas and books. |
| Everyone wanted to help Truly. |
| "Christmas Eve love for 'Hazal.' I think I need to teach her brother how to spell her name!" |
| Getting everything set for Christmas morning. |
Another wonderful Christmas Eve. Now onto the big day!
