Time in Virgin with Daddy

*Note: the pictures are all jumbled and in random order....ugh

We arrived in Virgin around dinnertime on Sunday the 5th. We were surprised by Khan, Kegan, and William. Theron and his new wife, Dee were also visiting for the evening from St. George. Khan had of course purchased a ton of fireworks and saved them to shoot off with us. The kids were very happy to see their cousins and to help shoot off some fireworks. We LOVE being in Virgin at Grandma's house, especially with Cody! Happy sigh, time to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Always a must do for Cody is going shooting with his dad. Katie's family came down for the week, so Bruce, Bruce's brother, the older boys and some of the girls joined in as well.

This trip Cody was focused on going through his old toys in the garage. Cody and the kids had a great time playing with all his old stuff. Hard to say who had more fun?!

Back to the fireworks.

Grandma's new dog, Ivory or Ivy, was a very fun addition to our trip.

Khan and the boys were only there for one night because they had to start driving for home themselves. We were very glad we got to overlap even for a little bit.

"Fireworks and G.I. Joes battles with his kids. Cody is in his happy place!"

It may be in the 90s or low 100s but everyone still ends up in the hot tub! The rest of the pool was a bit on the chilly side since it always cools off at night.

Watching a movie by myself...I mean with Cody and his mom!

One afternoon, Cody and I went on a date to the place where we were married so many years ago, the St. George Temple. It was very nice to get away and have some time just the two of us. 

"Cody and I spending the afternoon in the place where we were married almost 11 years ago. The St. George Temple is one of my favorite places on earth!"

"I LOVE visiting my in-laws for endless amount of reasons but one of my favorite things this trip has been watching Cody get out all his old toys and play with the kids. They are having the best time! The cell and wi-fi reception is spotty here, which forces us off our devices. So peaceful here!"

Katie's family came down half-way through the week and we all loved all the big family time. Cousins everywhere and always someone to talk to or play with.
