Grandma Adams' Visit

Cody and I got home late, late Sunday night and found everything in perfect order. Monday morning the kids were happy to see us but it was apparent they had a BLAST with Grandma Adams and had not really missed us at all. It was such a comfort while we were away knowing they were in such good hands. Cody took off Monday so that he could spend more time with his mom. It was still pretty chilly outside but the sun was out so we took the girls and headed over to the Akron Zoo. Despite the cold we all had a great time and it felt good to be outside together.
The snow leopards seemed very content with the weather.

Happy group and Cody and Grandma flashing matching smiles!
The grizzly bears seemed a little more underwhelmed by the weather.
But the otters were having a great time and put on a nice show for us all.

We warmed up with lunch/snacks inside.

I love these people!
One last storytime with Grandma on Wednesday night.
It was so, so, so fantastic having Grandma here with us for those 10 days! She brought tons of crafts to do with the girls and was very patient with Morgan while he explained (endlessly explained) all the nuances of Pokemon. I appreciated all of her help with the kids and around the house. We can't wait for our next trip out west so we can spend more time with her and with Papa. We truly have the best grandmas in the world!!!
