Random April 2014

Here's a taste of all the random iPhone pics and activities from April:
The first Tuesday of every month the momsclub has its monthly meeting and sometimes they invite guest speakers. This time a group called JumpStart Sports came to do some soccer skills with the kids. I wondered if Hazel would be interested at all, but she loved it and did really well for being a little one. So cute.

A glimpse of Pepper's antics during quiet time.
Here's the video of her dancing:

Hazel enjoying a breadstick with dad during Friday night movie/pizza night. We've been reliving our childhoods by showing the kids movies like "Goonies" and "Sandlot." Lots of fun but yikes with the kids swearing thing from the 80s/90s!
Saturday morning haircuts for Hazel, Cody and Morgan.

Hazel showing off her super cute new haircut and blue lollipop!
Cody got food poisoning...again...and here was Hazel helping him recover by sitting on him and drinking all his Gatorade. She's a helper!
I was watching Emma one morning and she and Hazel wanted popcorn for lunch. I didn't have the energy to argue. Pregnancy makes me such a pushover and my kids totally know it!
The cupcakes I made for Pepper to bring to school for her birthday celebration.

Pepper with the lovely, Ms. Susan.

My attempt at Easter decorations. I got the bunny at Pier 1 Imports and it is one of my new favorite things! It may still be up even though Easter is over, just maybe.
Pepper's Easter/spring decorations she made with Grandma A.
It's pretty much impossible for me to sit in my seat alone!

This is me at 33 weeks.
Here's Pepper trying on her dance recital costume. Despite her face, she loves it.
Here are two videos of Pepper doing some of her dance. My phone kept cutting out because it was full, ugh!

During spring break, we all went to visit Cody at work for lunch. It happened to be the same day that the new test kitchen was holding an open house and ice cream bar. That worked great for us and we stopped by there for a sweet treat after lunch.
Cody's face, hahahah!
On Good Friday, Morgan went to a classmates birthday pool party. The take home "prize" was a live goldfish in a little bowl. I could NOT believe this was the goodie bag and was not very happy, but Morgan was so happy that I couldn't say no.
Morgan was very proud of his new pet, our families first pet, and named him Swimmer. I was terrified he would die the first night but luckily he made it just a bit longer, one week.
This is how Cody found Morgan on the potty. This kid can't go anywhere without his Pokemon cards!
Cody's shot of the kids on the morning of Pepper's party.
Hazel playing quietly one morning while everyone else was at school. Love these moments!
Pepper's beautiful new Elsa dress courtesy of Auntie Mesha and Uncle Kelley.
So pretty!
Hazel approves as well.

Swimmer passed away during the night on Friday, April 25th, so on Saturday morning we had a little funeral for him. Morgan dug a little grave and we put him in it and Pepper marked it with a white rock.
Hazel helping out by digging some more holes during our little ceremony.
Pepper and Morgan said a few words about our first pet. I was worried Morgan would be very upset but the kids were so excited to play funeral that I think they recovered pretty quickly.
Having my own daffodils bloom in my own yard makes me very, very, very happy!!!!
Morgan will be starting t-ball next month so Cody decided it was high time he got him a mitt and started teaching him about baseball.
Morgan definitely has some work to go on catching but he has a pretty natural strong arm at throwing.
Hazel not so happy that she doesn't get to keep all the balls to herself and chase them into the street.
Cody playing Candyland with the kids on a Saturday night. Hazel kept running off, Pepper just wanted to get Queen Frostine and Morgan was obsessively worried his sisters were going to move their pieces wrong. It was a great game to watch!
So, there's April for you guys. On to May!
